Coastal Haze

Inspired by the softened palette of sea, sky, and shoreline, this atmospheric seascape was created through a process of layering, editing, and quiet observation. Guided by a collection of coastal imagery, the painting evolved into an exploration of light, mood, and horizon. Coastal Haze reflects the feeling of being near the water. The stillness, openness, and sense of ease that draw us back again and again. The finished 30 x 40 piece offers a calm focal point and evokes a restorative feeling.

Gathering Place

Commissioned for a luxury lakefront retreat in McCall, Idaho, this piece was inspired by the feeling of belonging to a place that draws people together year after year. Created in collaboration with the collectors, the painting reflects the surrounding landscape while capturing the warmth and sense of connection that defines the home. The finished work hangs in the entry and great room, serving as a welcoming focal point for arriving guests.

Arianna

The journey of Arianna began when the collector discovered my work through a friend who had previously collected one of my original paintings. Seeking a custom piece for her family room fireplace, she shared the elements of her home that she loved most, including the turquoise tones introduced throughout the space and artwork already collected over the years.

Together, we developed a custom concept designed to feel both personal and connected to the home. The finished painting now hangs above the fireplace, creating a luminous focal point that brings harmony to the room and reflects the collector’s vision.
