'Scarlet Reef' is an original abstract dominated by bold red tones with contrasting patches of teal and light blue. The thickly applied red paint creates a rich, textured surface that feels energetic and raw. The areas where the blue and teal emerge add a sense of depth and contrast.. The juxtaposition of the warm red and cool teal creates a visually striking dynamic, with the rough, uneven edges of the colors evoking a sense of erosion. The distressed, weathered effect gives the painting a feeling of tension and balance between warmth and coolness, intensity and calm. It exudes an expressive and tactile quality, drawing the viewer into its intricate surface. It measures 24'' x 24'' x 1.5'' and comes wired and ready to hang. This work can be customized with resin for a high-gloss finish.
